Dr. Khurshid Khurshid MD

Khurshid Khurshid earned his medical degree from the University of Kashmir, Srinagar. He completed a psychiatry residency program at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences and a combined internal medicine and psychiatry residency at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. He completed a fellowship in sleep medicine and circadian rhythms at the University of Chicago Medicine. Currently, Dr. Khurshid specializes in psychiatry and sleep medicine with a focus on neuromodulation and practices at Community Neurosciences Services, LLC. Dr. Khurshid is board certified in psychiatry and sleep medicine. Neuromodulation treatments have created a paradigm shift in the treatment of Neuropsychiatric disorders. We need to start thinking and treating these disorders in the form of brain networks. While there is a lot of promise and enthusiasm about newer treatments, we still need to treat a patient as a whole and emphasize the importance of prevention strategies directed at achieving and maintaining health and wellbeing.
