Dr. Rebecca Lundquist is a board certified psychiatrist. She specializes in the treatment of adults for psychiatric conditions and has specific interest in working with women whose conditions overlap obstetrics and gynecology, such as psychiatric disorders in pregnancy and lactation, premenstrual dysphoric disorder and psychiatric symptoms during the menopausal transition. She is Clinical Associate Professor of Psychiatry at UMass Medical School where she has worked since 2003.
In addition to her work at CNS, Rebecca is Director of the Outpatient Psychiatry Clinic and the Women’s Mental Health Clinic at UMass Memorial Medical Center where she sees patients and teaches medical students and residents in addition to her administrative duties. She is passionate about bringing high quality mental health treatment to as many patients in need as possible, especially through consultation with primary care physicians in our community.
Rebecca is a graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and received her medical degree from Wright State University school of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio. She completed her training in psychiatry at the Harvard Longwood Psychiatry Residency Training Program and additional training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy at the Adams House Fellowship Program. She has been pleased to call Central Massachusetts home for more than a decade and enjoys engaging in walking, yoga and other mindful activities whenever she is able.
