Meet Our Team
Dr. Justin Donaghy, MD
Neurology & Clinical Neurophysiology,
Worcester Location
Dr. Donaghy is trained in General neurology and clinical neurophysiology. He treats patients for all types of neurologic conditions including epilepsy, headache, stroke, neuromuscular disorders, multiple sclerosis, and Parkinson’s disease. Additionally, he is trained in both EEG and EMG, which are diagnostic tests used to monitor, diagnose, and evaluate multiple neurologic issues to better guide treatment decisions.
Neurologic conditions typically require a multi-prong approach which includes the patient, family, caregivers, the neurologist and other supporting staff. In this way every individual involved is playing an important role in the patient’s care and wellbeing. Encouraging healthy choices, lifestyle changes, as well as pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic recommendations is important to provide a full perspective on neurologic conditions. “It’s about getting to know them as a whole person, not a collection of diagnoses”
Dr. Donaghy graduated cum laude from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and earned his medical degree through the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester. He completed an internship in general medicine at St. Vincent Hospital and his neurology residency at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center. In addition, he served as a chief neurology resident during his final year in residency. He also completed a fellowship in clinical neurophysiology at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center. He is also a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the American Association of Neuromuscular and Electro diagnostic Medicine.
