Dr. Werhba earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Arizona State University and completed her internship at the Tucson Veteran Administration Hospital. Her postdoctoral training at UMass Medical Center focused on assessment across the lifespan, with emphasis on neurological and neurodegenerative conditions such as dementing disorders, movement disorders, epilepsy, and brain tumors. She trained at Cambridge Health Alliance, conducting evaluations of adults with complex psychiatric or substance use histories and diverse backgrounds. She completed an advanced postdoctoral fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital’s Home Base Program, specializing in mild traumatic brain injury with co-occurring psychiatric and substance use disorders. She has specialized training in capacity and competency evaluations in older adults and extensive experience in the assessment of cognitive decline and dementing illnesses. Dr. Wershba is also the founder of Boston Metro Neuropsychology (BMNP), which applies her neurological expertise to complex medicolegal evaluations such as capacity evaluations, IMEs, and fitness for work evaluations.
